Keystock Keeps Your Punches in Line
Shaped punches, such as oblongs, squares, or hexagons, have the recommended option of adding a keyway in the head of your punch.
The keyway is used to hold keystock, which is a soft piece of steel used to lock the punch in place, so it does not rotate.
- F16 V-Groove 1/8” x 1” Keystock

- H1 V-Groove 3/16” x 1” Keystock
The keyway in the head of the punch and the corresponding keystock vary depending on the make and model of your machine.
